A Toyohashi University of Technology research team has
succeeded in developing a variable color sheet with a film
thickness of 400 nanometers that changes color when stretched and
shrunk. The developed stretchable color sheets are expected to be
applied to adhesive-type display elements, as they can adhere to
skin or be transferred to various electronic devices at room
temperature utilizing the high adhesiveness of
elastomers.
