An international research team involving Professor
Federico Rosei of the Institut national de la recherche
scientifique (INRS) has demonstrated a novel process to modify the
structure and properties of graphene. This chemical reaction, known
as photocycloaddition, modifies the bonds between atoms using
ultraviolet light. The results of the study were recently published
in the prestigious journal Nature Chemistry.

The New Fusion technology is based on a phenomenon called triplet-triplet annihilation (TTA) which is a process in which two triplet excitons annihilate and produce a higher energy singlet exciton.
